Philip Humphrey

After an academic research and teaching career in Materials Science and supervising many wonderful doctoral students from around the world, Philip established an international research company focusing on patented instrumentation for the science of adhesion for both industry and research institutions. Another of Philip’s passions is the application of his international background to develop meaningful strategies to address the challenges faced by underprivileged and environmentally threatened communities in developing countries – mainly in rural southern Africa. Philip has been with Words For All since it's founding, and continues to use his experience to provide strategic advice to its leadership.
